Saturday the sun shone so we went to the market and then took the car for a 90 mile drive around part of the Gargano peninsular, through the pretty harbour town of Vieste and past a vintage Trabucco below.
These structures are still used to catch fish by dropping nets into the sea below. The drive took us home through the huge wooded area of the forest of Umbra which is where we plan do most of our walking. It is totally unspoilt and is full of wild boar, pigs, goats, sheep and cows all roaming free.
All the comms are sorted with an extension cable snaking from the upstairs ADSL socket down to the floor below which is the kitchen dining area, where we supect we will spend most of our time on these winter days.
The studio is set up and tested. A very different view from the one I'm used to !
